Kieboom

This is an assignment for Kieboom Lasersystemen B.V., a company selling laser systems. Their premises is already 30 years old and as is the interior. The project consisted of designing a different interior with a new and modern look.

The project is still running and I'll be working on a more realistic and affordable idea.

stand for small organisation

A small project for school was to design a stand for a small enterprise (which is operated from school). The stand could only cost about 500 EURO and had to be build in less than an hour.

I designed a small stand made of scrap. Scrap wood, second hand frames, second hand table and scaffold tubes were created into an environmental stand.
 

project for design den haag

Foundation Design Den Haag covers projects for the government. The foundation tried to upgrade the communication between the biggest European cities. Rome, Stockholm, The Hague, Paris, London and Berlin were the participating cities.

For the project I had to design an interactive public space. I designed a path projecting the live footprints of citizens of the other cities. Special designed piezo tiles could register were the citizens were walking and send this data to the projector poles in the other cities. The special piezo tiles also won energy. Using this technique the special design public spaces could be almost operated fully from the energy created by the piezo tiles.
